They are playing at their home ground in Mumbai, where they previously defeated KKR while chasing a target of 186 runs. Ishan Kishan's impressive knock of 58 off 25 deliveries gave MI the upper hand in their pursuit. Additionally, the MI bowlers were able to contain KKR and prevent them from scoring more than 190-195 runs.
Piyush Chawla's leg-break has been consistent and will be a crucial bowler for MI. Rohit Sharma is likely to bring Chawla in to bowl against Punjab's Matthew Short. Short has been dismissed twice by leg-break bowlers in his previous three innings, as well as once by a right-arm off-break bowler. If Punjab can avoid losing wickets, they will be able to mount a successful chase.
Liam Livingstone is a valuable addition to any T20 squad in the world, but he was dismissed early in a crucial run chase. If he remains in the team, he will be the key player to watch out for.
